MDLinx is M3 USA’s news and content site for physicians. Everything below I owned from spec to production and measured after launch, and most of it now runs without an engineer in the loop.

A Connections-style medical puzzle game, built end to end and in production within a month. Hundreds of players in the first week. Puzzles now come from an AI generation pipeline with editorial review, so the game runs without an engineer, and two new ad units monetize it.

Turned vulnerability cleanup into an operating program: swept every repo against a large npm supply-chain attack list, drove scanner adoption, and ran an upgrade loop that cut open findings by roughly 90%. A CLI I built enforces one PR per fix, with generated validation evidence, smoke-test reports, and a risk score on every PR.

MDLinx’s flagship short-form content product. I owned the whole build: four content types, deep linking, video hero banners, preview mode, and the analytics layer across Segment, Hotjar, and Snowflake, through two rounds of UAT with editorial, marketing, data, and client services. Demoed at company Demo Day.

Built the sponsored-campaign product end to end: content models, campaign-scoped queries, date-windowed visibility, theming, campaign stats pages, ad configuration, and an Iterable integration into the data platform. The first campaign met its contracted delivery targets.

Took MDLinx from no A/B testing to product-run experimentation. Evaluated GrowthBook against a static-generation architecture in a written trade-off analysis, built the reusable integration, shipped the site’s first experiment, then added deploy hooks and conversion metrics until product could launch tests without engineering.

Every role here has the same shape: embed with the people who own a problem, learn the domain fast, and own the fix end to end. That is the forward deployed engineer’s job description, and I was doing it before the title existed.
I’m also an AI-native engineer. Agentic coding tools run through my daily workflow: I plan with them, delegate implementation to them, and review everything they produce before it ships. That leverage is how the Medical Matchup puzzle pipeline and the security remediation CLI shipped alongside the product roadmap instead of after it.

The original forward deployed role. I sat inside the college, found the department workflows that hurt, and shipped full-stack fixes: an inventory system built around barcode scanners, a modernized class schedule, advisor workload balancing, and a student ID migration across dozens of databases.

03 · How I work
Spec, content model, API, frontend, tracking, QA, release, and the numbers afterward. On a launch I am the person with the whole picture, working across product, editorial, marketing, data, ad ops, and outside vendors.
A feature is done when product and editorial can run it without an engineer: self-serve experiments, content-configurable templates, an AI puzzle pipeline with human review. I leave every codebase easier to operate than I found it, from one-command dev startup to onboarding docs.
Trade-off analyses before big decisions, impact reports after incidents, and the same scrutiny for my own work. I have paused my own migration on complexity grounds and reversed my own schema design after finding a data-integrity flaw.

I run a homelab, self-host what I can, and believe the best products come from engineers who sweat both the database and the drop shadow. These days that means leading a team at M3 USA and building the products physicians use on MDLinx.
